HTC Rezound On Verizon

Fans of Android phones subscribed to the Verizon network have cause for rejoice with the addition of the HTC Rezound to the carriers choice of phones.

Features

Physically the HTC Rezound is manufactured from an aluminium outer casing. Touches of red around the earpiece, and rear add to the unique feel of the Rezound.

This phone is aimed at the upper end of the Smartphone market and thus is packed with features. The 1.5 GHz dual core processor ensures that multitasking between apps is not a problem, and overall performance is first-rate.

The phone ships with 16 GB of onboard memory and a 16GB Micro-SD card meaning storage capacity should not be an issue for most people.

The stunning 4.3 inch LCD screen gives a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, making it far superior to the much hyped I-Phone 4s.

The resound encompasses a 2 megapixel front facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear facing camera with dual flash. The rear facing camera is a wide angle lens equivalent to a 28mm lens, which also has the capability to capture 1080P HD video.

Dr. Dre Beats

Those regularly using their Smartphone as a media / music player will appreciate the phones association to Beats Audio. The HTC Rezound ships with iBeats headphones and with Beats Audio software pre-installed on the phone. The iBeats are superior to earphones supplied with most phones and are a welcome addition to the Rezound box.

Beats Audio automatically detects the iBeats ear buds and optimizes the audio to provide an enhanced audio experience.

Verizon Options

The full retail price on Verizon currently stands at a hefty $649.99. But if you’re willing to sign up to the carrier for 24 months the phone price drops to $299.99. The HTC Rezound operates on Verizons 4G LTE Network so mobile connectivity on the go should not cause issue.

Bottom Line

The HTC Rezound is a fun phone to use and comes packaged with all the bells and whistles one would expect from a top tier Smartphone. HTC’s latest version of Sense adds to the user experience with some neat widgets and features.

HTC (View HTC Phones!) recently announced on its official Facebook page that Ice Cream Sandwich will be pushed onto several of its upper end Smartphone’s, including the Rezound.

At Android Mobiles we were impressed with the Rezound on many levels. The high resolution screen, super fast 4G connectivity, high quality camera and sound all add to what should be considered one of the better phones on the Verizon network.
