Google Nexus S

The Nexus S is the second smartphone to be designed by Google, it being the upgrade to the Nexus One. The Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) phone is manufactured by Samsung and before its announcement in early December 2010 it was known as the Samsung i9020.

In reality there are few upgrades to the phone from the Nexus One, the major being the Near Field Communication (NFC) tag reader. The Nexus S is the first phone to support the hardware and software technology. Also the Nexus S has a unique contoured touchscreen, which according to Google is more comfortable to hold and use than the standard flat screens
